Tomorro i have blood work just here in town, so that's not a major thing and then this weekend is "kids can cope" a program put on by cancer care where the kids will be painting and working with horses, they are special picked horses who love kids, Janae is so looking forward to it. These people also are very much aware of what kids are going through and explain to the kids where mommy or daddy has cancer and let the kids ask questions and its kinda a bit like a kids support group weekend, the kids also help in preparing the meals, clean up as well as grooming and cleaning up after the horses, showing them responsibility for them as well. I think she'll want a horse as a pet after this weekend, then sat we all head up for supper to meet other parents who's lives are touched by cancer as well. As much as having cancer is not a good thing, we are incredibly blessed to have such a supportive family, by this not only do i mean the immediate family/friends but also wether i've gone to my treatments or the fashion show, you meet people who you become somewhat attached to, its like we're a big family, in a sense its kinda neat. Talking to the ladies at the fashion show, getting to know them, what type of cancer they have, how they're doing, little tid bits of advice, just a super support group, so look forward to this weekend as well, meeting new people once again.
gotta add another little girl story, on sat i told hubby something and i said your son, Janae pipes up, mom he's not dad's son he's yours, Jodiene & I are dad's girls and Brenten he's your son, so hm.... guess that's the way it is. She is a very much daddy's girl no doubt, well both girls are for that matter. she makes us laugh every day she's so adorable.
Well i promised a pic, so my sis sent one of the big girl & I at the fashion show, i'm not in my fashion show attire there, but personally i don't think it even looks like me, but maybe it ought to lol!! Most pics she got were blurry, she says i was walkin' too fast, well we were on a mission i say, a big area to cover in a short time period. anyway...
