Was at my sister - what a fighter!!! She's exhausted and she's not doing a whole lot but lying in bed, being wheeled to the table to eat and sometimes she'll maybe sit up for a while to visit. Her feet are swollen and Dr. Parker says its because her losing protein due to the draining of the lung. She says it makes it very hard to walk. Her body is going to take a while to build up, it seems quite slow. She thinks her blood levels for everything are lower than when she was in the hospital. So she'll see the Dr next week Tuesday and he'll see how everythings going. She still has fuild draining from her lung. A reminder to visitors - the Portage Nurses want us to all make sure we're considerate- no perfumes, hairsprays, aftershave, colognes anything with an odor. Also please call first before going to see her. As of right now her family does not need any more sweets, she said they're probably good for a week. They do love desserts but right now they've got enough for a while. I brought her a lasagna and garlic bread today. My mom and Jo were making perogies to freeze and they were making rollkucken for supper. Thanks to everyone for being a part of her life - keep praying - she's not giving up and we as a family aren't either.

Happy 60th. Jake & Anne, you definately are special couple we as a family have ,cherished you for years., and it started with genealogy, one of these days i'll get back into it, but for now focussing on the Lord and getting my health where he'd like and then away we'll go once agai, i'm sure families have patience esp. since we as a "family" have had many trials in our lives, its always neat to see the Heide family come on through in Prayer, support, we love you all so much, Will, diane & fam.
