As you can tell by the side of my blog, food, recipe ideas are definatly something i love, i want to do a bit of baking and bring my neighbor some, i found out recently she's also been struggling with the unknowns, i will call her today, see when it suits her for a visit. A young wife, mom, with two little girls pregnant with third baby, who has some lumps in her neck that are thought to possibly be cancerous but doc's will check out more thoroughly after baby is born. Pray for her as this is an important time for baby's health as well as hers, she's had a lot of bumps in the road already in her christian walk, but God does not give us more than we can take, sometimes we want to question how much is enough and we think we've had enough, but we need to submit our whole being over to Him, he is in charge.
Another little girl story: on sunday little girl came home from sunday school with a cup with a couple bean seeds placed in soil, so she's got her stereo playing songs for her plants that have not as of yet come up, but i'm sure at this rate they'll be popping if not bouncing out of the ground soon, she had her plants in the living room and her stereo beside them, playing then leaving the room, two nights ago i decided to move her stereo back into her room, not realizing the music was for her plants, she was so upset with me that her plants wouldn't grow, trouble is living room has north window, so now they are in a south window and get "Jesus songs" as she calls them so they can grow. Although i love her songs, this morning as i was bouncing on the trampoline waiting for the bus, we were bouncing to I've got the "Joy, Joy, Joy in my soul" it just boosts a person to know even when we have illnesses that are out of our control, we still can know that we can be Happy and have the Joy of the Lord in our hearts, one of my devotions a while ago, also spoke on that, Can I be Happy while having cancer? Absolutely, why?? you might ask, because we have God in our hearts and he is the reason we ought to be happy. Who'd want to be miserable the rest of their life, no matter how short or long it is, even when things aren't going the way we have planned, God has a plan for us. If he chooses to take us home, we know we are in the ultimate place.
I didn't get to my transplanting of cabbages this week, think i'll hold off till next week, they're still looking good, although i did see a pepper plant has a couple buds on it already and we've still got another month and a bit before they head out into the garden, so we ought to have red peppers come Aug. def. Sept.
Many of you are asking how do i post a reply or even become a follower of a blog, well it seems one needs to have a google account, so just go to www.google.com and on the top right hand side is a "sign in" button click on it and it will then have options, so if you don't have an account create an account now (right side) and you'll be able to post comments or be followers of many who blog.
I had started a blog completely different from today's yesterday but then my sis was here bright and early so i x'd it, so today needed to be a new start and i'd forgotten what i was even going to blog about. go figure. anway, hugz to all of you, diane
p.s. pic is of my all time fav. bird "Bald Eagle" it is such a majestic creature, i know the pic isn't great, but i've only got a small camera and every spring and fall they come and sit up in our tallest trees, i love when they come around, although i have not seen any this spring yet, maybe cause water is too shallow in the creek. Also love - friends of ours knew i loved Bald Eagles so they found a calendar for 2010 which has only bald eagle pics on it as well each month has a scripture verse, another neat idea, which i just love.
