April 14, 2010

hi! well i decided yesterday i would make a blog, put all my emails into a blog from the start of us finding out i had adeno carcenoma of the lung (lung & lymphoma cancer) this way i figure i'm not doing so much emailing, i can just put little bits n' pieces in as we go along, ( as you can tell my blog is called diane's babblings lol!! so who knows how short anything will actually be) also found as soon as i'd written my email i'd get people asking to add someone for the prayer concerns & praise items, so i decided this way i can keep things as current as they come.
Pic i have posted is one of my fav. projects, well not that transplanting is my fav. thing to do, but i love to garden, so i tend to start most of my plants indoors, (thanks to my incredibly talented hubby who built me my grow opp. cart with wheels so i can push it outside once its warmer) i am so impressed with (my peppers) this year, as last year i bought soil that had bugs and so they just didnt' do so well. this year they have pretty decent stocks on them, my tomatoes not so much, but my peppers have a month head start, some cabbage is absolutely supurb while others are struggling, i did kale, broccoli, and flowering kale this year.

Here's my cart with plants in 2008,( although the pic of peppers are from today) i couldn't find the pic of just the cart hubby made, so anyway.
I have been doing quite well, although there's always days of less oxygen, but overall i just can't complain, i am still here, a complete miracle. I am doing things i love, like mowing the lawn, baking, cooking, gardening, looking after my families needs. Occasionally they even get spoiled eg. last week made cinnamon buns, today's task cottage cheese perogies, not sure how far i'll get with that, as my palative care nurse is coming over after 2 today so i finally get to meet her (she's new her name is Kim)
anyway, will see that i get something done other than computer stuff, diane

  1. Wow! Your peppers look great! Trying not to get too excited about gardening this year. ;) Thanks for the update...you always have a way of glorifying God's name regardless of the circumstances. I appreciate that.
