prayer request updates

*Serena - she is almost 2 years old, she has cancer - Serena was diagnosed on April 3rd, 2010 with a Sacrococcyg​eal Teratoma Tumor. It is located in her pelvis area, around the base of her spine. They have also found where it has growths in her lungs and liver. This is a common form of cancer among infants and children her age. I do not know the exact size of the main tumor, but I have been told that it is quite large. It was discovered after we noticed a lump on her lower back that continued to get bigger. The doctors have told us that this form of Cancer responds well to Chemo, so they will begin with that, likely for 6-8 months, then she will undergo surgery to remove the rest of what will hopefully then be a benign tumor. to follow Serena's family blog http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/serenacooper
* my friend Helena who is in Haiti now helping out wherever she can she was previously at the Galilean Children's Home - anyone wishing to go volunteer (nothing needed except for personal hygene) for 3 month or so just call 606 787 4697
*Mari - as she continues to fight cancer,
*Sharon - Josh (son) is a match (donor) for her now waiting for a surgery date on the liver transplant in London, ON, she has one person ahead of her, i haven't heard of any date, but she has a month now, surgery in May!!
* April - April finished her last chemo treatment, but will be starting the chemo pill soon as well as possibility of 2 more surgeries, pray for her & Dwayne & children & the unknowns
*Isaiah Beatty. He is still in the hospital fighting infection that the doc's don't know what to do about, pray for wisdom. He has really been going through a lot lately. (Isaiah has problems swallowing)
* Donna & Gerry - Donna's dad (David Heide) just had surgery to remove his right lung due to cancer, doc's told him no chemo, then changed their minds to putting him on chemo as a precaution, he's anxious about taking treatments.
* Many friends of ours who have children who are struggling
* Two of my friends A & A who have asked for prayer support in helping them to quit smoking
* Dave & Tina - Dave just diagnosed recently with Leukemia
* Blaine & Tamara - Blaine & Tamara are new christians & Blaine was diagnosed with cancer, and deals with pain on a daily basis
* Ron & Joanne - Ron diagnosed with liver cancer
* My cousin's (Eva & Menno )son David, recently diagnosed with Alphonse disease, but they are running more tests, he's a young 22 yr. old, may need have chemo to shrink the growth
* darlene's mom - starting chemo today for uterin cancer, having 5- 6 hr. treatment for about 6 months
* Breanne- asked for : pray for Breanne & her DTS team for unity and that we will be protected against being separated and that we will stay strong and that our dreams will be protected, we will be going to Turkey next week for two months to minister there.
